The water is brown/black colour from the Tanins in the grasses and trees.That evening the group stayed at a youth hostel in the National Park - which was brimming with wildlife. In one evening they saw kangaroos, wallabies and a bush tailed possum which appeared outside the kitchen looking for scraps.
