Nasal Chowk and the 9 storey Basantapur Tower, Durbar Sq, Kathmandu

This courtyard and tower are part of the Palace complex. In the middle of the courtyard is the coronation platform. A huge museum is attached to the Palace Complex which charts Nepals Royal History, but no explanation is offered about the Royal Massacre in 2001, only a few pictures of the funeral of King Birendra - one of the many victims.
