Fowler stayed at the Cosmic Guesthouse on Nathan Road in Kowloon. It was clean and cheap for this part of town but felt like one was sleeping in a swimming pool changing room cubicle as the room had no windows and was tiled from floors to walls to ceilings- and Fowler had to sleep diagonally so his head and feet didn't touch the walls. Still, some parts of Kowloon are the most densely populated places on the planet- so musn't grumble. In fact the biggest hassle was going out the building to see what the weather was like early in the morning - clear days have to be utilised quickly - especially at this time of year.
