The view from Kowloon over Hong Kong

Fowler stayed at the Cosmic Guesthouse on Nathan Road in Kowloon. It was clean and cheap for this part of town but felt like one was sleeping in a swimming pool changing room cubicle as the room had no windows and was tiled from floors to walls to ceilings- and Fowler had to sleep diagonally so his head and feet didn't touch the walls. Still, some parts of Kowloon are the most densely populated places on the planet- so musn't grumble. In fact the biggest hassle was going out the building to see what the weather was like early in the morning - clear days have to be utilised quickly - especially at this time of year.Posted by Picasa
